Guidelines
for Session Chairs:
You are requested to adhere to following guidelines:
- Please
be in the session at least 10 minutes before the session.
- Please
ensure that all equipments are working properly.
- If
there are any PPT presentations, load the files on the computer
and ensure that all files open.
- At
the beginning of the session, divide the available time equally
among the speakers that are present. Each speaker should be requested
to finish his/her presentation within allotted time including about
5 minutes for question-answers.
- Make
sure that all speakers have registered for the conference. They
must be wearing the conference badge. If a speaker does not have
the badge, please request him to register for the conference immediately
prior to making the presentation.
- Welcome
the speakers and audience to the session at the beginning of the
session.
- Introduce
each speaker briefly as he/she is invited to make the presentation.
The introduction should be limited to the speaker’s name,
his/her affiliation, and title of the paper.
- Give
a signal to speakers two minutes before the time he/she is expected
to finish the presentation.
